Portuguese wine producer
Portuguese winemaker António Maçanita and resident English viticulture consultant, David Booth founded Fita Preta in 2004.
First wine, first success, with a Trophy Alentejo Award by IWC, given the second time in 22 years of competition. Fita Preta produces wines that reflect Alentejo’s character, but also what the company aspires the Region to be. They are as much about diving deep in their culture and its complexities, as they are about changing the world with new trials, new tastes and new blends.
Today Fita Preta sells its wines all over Europe, US, Canada, and already in Brasil, Angola, Macau, Taiwan and Singapore.
In Portugal Fita Preta’s home is a beautiful combination of a XIV century building together with a XXI century winery.
